碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 雕塑學系 === 98 === Whenever family, friendship, love, and jobs, people always connect each other and are restricted because of human relationships. No matter it brings good or bad feelings, people seldom can get rid of all these entanglement, and it looks like a marionette being manipulated. For defining the relationships clearly, “relationship, marionette, controlling, and life”these four elements comprise my sculpture topic. I choose ceramic and all kinds of lines to express the context of“ marionette and controlling line’. In the meanwhile, it is the reflection of my life experiences, including my family, love, friendship, jobs and school works and so on. Those different connections manipulate my life. I have the impulse to clarify this complicated situation, and almost everybody has the same experiences as well. Therefore, I hope other people can have the same emotions by these artworks. This article was divided into five chapters. The first chapter indicated my growing background and artworks’ inspiration and origin. The second chapter indicated how to use marionette to express my life experience of relationships. The third chapter indicated that I choose the key material─“red line” to play an important part in these artworks. The fourth chapter indicated each artwork clearly. At last, in the fifth chapter, I make the conclusion and express the thinking of these art makings.
