Charles Taylor offers an original perspective on this problem, based upon his inquisition through Rousseau’s political theory. But Taylor thinks the Rousseauean politics is suspicious of cultural differentiation and receptive to the homogenizing. Is Taylor’s analysis exactly correct? Should a liberal democratic society accept Taylor’s viewpoint? As this thesis dedicated to inquiry, Rousseau maybe gives another perspective on this tendency.
