The study collects three versions of grade 1 to 4 Chinese textbooks to calculate and summarize the types and frequency of all conjunctions by the definition of Chinese compound/composite sentences. All collected data are classified as nine categories. The final version of the test is formed after expert revision and two pre-tests. 1154 pupils are included as subjects to measure and analyze how students use Chinese conjunctions. The correlation and predictive ability of this test are also discussed by comparing the data with the results of reading comprehension screening test, students Hung Wen-chen 洪文珍 2009 學位論文 ; thesis 112 zh-TW
