Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 兒童文學研究所 === 98 === Adapted from a popular Japanese comics of Naoko Takeuchi in the 80’s, the animation Sailor Moon shows the love, consideration, dedication, sacrifice, goodness, and etc. between people. This paper aims to explore where the love related to these behaviors comes from, and in what forms does it lie within each character.
Using Doi Takeo’s theory as the basis, this paper is divided in to three chapters to analyze the form and gesture of love, discussing the Amae structure in Sailor Moon from the aspects narrative, image designing of characters and events, and the form of love.
The result shows that human emotions are brought from heart, and the emotion displayed in Sailor Moon are based on kindness and trust, winning everyone’s heart and impression. Further more, this animation shows the character and charm of Japanese love, which is established with the elements of trueness, goodness, and beauty.
