Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 特殊教育學系碩士班 === 99 === This study aimed at discussing current situation and attitude of gender equity education offered by the teachers of special education class of national secondary and primary schools and attitude of the teachers, and analyzing current differences of the teachers of special education class with different background variables and gender attitudes in offering gender equity education in the four dimensions, namely, “course and textbook”, “teaching method”, “administrative support” and “difficulty and limitation”. The research has been conducted by means of questionnaire to research the 209 teachers of special education class of national secondary and primary schools of Tainan City. The questionnaire formulated by the writer has been used as research tool. The data acquired has been analyzed with such statistical methods as descriptive statistics, chi-square test, t-test and one-way ANOVA. Results of data analysis are as follows. 1. Most of the teachers have once offered gender equity education to mentally or physically handicapped students, at least 40% of the teachers think the course syllabus should be revised and 40% of the teachers are not clear about contents of gender equity education. 2. The status of gender equity education teachers in different gender, age, the maximum special education background, seniority, marital status is in small differences , but that in different class, advanced studies is in big differences. 3. Most of the teachers hold a positive attitude towards gender equity education and the attitude varies apparently as gender, seniority, further education status of or class being taught by teachers varies but only age, the highest educational attainment and marital status won't influence gender attitude of teachers. 4. Teachers whose gender attitude is better, they have offered educational better . Finally, according to the above research results, related suggestions are put forward to educational administrative authorities, national secondary and primary schools, future researches and so on.
