| Summary: | 碩士 === 臺中技術學院 === 多媒體設計系碩士班 === 98 === According to the development of virtual reality technology on Internet, the mode of presentation of online E-learning has evolved from 2D web page to multi-user virtual environments (MUVEs), so as to enhance the collaborative learning effect by the multi-way interaction.
This article investigates the functionalities and characteristics of MUVEs, and then analyzes and compiles the interactivity and scene atmosphere of virtual environment for clarifying the effectiveness factors of learning to share and problem to discuss when users do the online learning. By the achievements of the investigation, the design criteria of an online situational forum have been presented, and the prototype was proposed.
When we analyzed the collected data of usability test, which show that the high interactivity and situational simulation mechanism of MUVEs will do help users’ learning to share and problem to discuss. During the trial process users gave comments on the usability and interface design of proposed prototype, which will be served as the revision basis to improve the investigation.
