No matter which digital system platform is adopted, course information index and online discussed interaction are the first interfaces that the learners usually use after accessing to the system. Therefore, these interfaces must have the effects of helping learners to get course information and guiding their learning. The research intends to adopt timeline course information interface, integrated with real-time video、discussion text and materials concept of group tags, to give the learning activities of online courses more dynamic functions. The VCVIM(Visualization Course Video Instant Messages) prototype interface is a design of learning platform, applied time axis to present course information and integrated online audio and video multi real-time interaction. It also provides the learners a rapidly chronological retrieve and a preliminary learning profile of the video course by the syllabus, numbers of participants and materials concept of group tags prior to clicking into the course. The real-time interactive interface of VCVIM, integrating real-time interactive functions of the text, the video, and tag clouds, allows learners to take the initiative to learn and participate in course information descriptions. This study not only involves in developing the system interface but proves the possibility of the technology, and after testing students of different educational system, school education and social education, and concludes: (1) The design of Timeline course information interface conforms to the browsing behavior of learners visiting the website. (2)The real-time interactive function of the text and video can complement each other of online e-learning systems. (3)Tag Clouds, pinpointing the summary, helps learners build the concept of the course promptly. (4) The quality of e-learning system affects learner’s cognition to usefulness and easiness of the system which is critical reason influencing the effectiveness of the learning.
