However, either deviant behavior or family attachment would vary as individuals grow up. Therefore, the reducing function of family attachment may also vary as individuals grow up and the appearance of deviant behavior may also weaken the bonding between adolescents and their own families. Through the interaction view of Thornberry (1987), this research would explore the developmental relationship between family attachment and deviant behavior. By using the data of “Taiwan Youth Survey”, this research would examine the interaction relationship between family attachment and deviant behavior of Taiwanese adolescent during age 13 to 15. The purposes of this research are: first, to explore the development trend of family attachment during these 3 years; second, to explore the development trend of deviant behavior during these 3 years; third, to analyze the interaction relationship between family attachment and deviant behavior; fourth, to examine the casual relationship between family attachment and deviant behavior. The result shows that family attachment decreased from age 13 to 15 while deviant behavior shows an increased trend. From the perspective of individual developmental process, there is an interactional relationship exist between family and individual. That is family has the function of reducing adolescent’s deviant behavior, but this is not enough to reduce all the deviant behavior. While deviant behavior is appeared, the bonding between family and individual would also weaken. Susyan Jou 周愫嫻 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 51 zh-TW
