Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 生命教育與健康促進研究所 === 98 === The purpose of this research is to understand university school students’ concept of life attitude and to explore the differences according to individual background and environmental experiences variables. The subjects are students from 1-4 grade of an university of education in Northern Taiwan in 2007 academic year, surveyed by using Life Attitude Profile developed by Ying-chyi Ho as instrument with cluster sampling and stratified random sampling method. There are total 693 valid questionnaires acquired after deleting missing values. The mean of this profile is 3.50, and it shows a positive tendency. The highest factor is “will to meaning”, and the lowest is “existential vacuum”. This research presents that religion is the most significant factor on individual background variables; and factors for the environmental experiences variables are differences from experiences with life and death, life education, family talking about death, contacts with media messages about death, and experiences with violent video games. Based on these results, this research can provide references and suggestions for parents, school and teachers, relevant units, and future researches.
