Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育政策與管理研究所 === 97 === A Study On the Implementation Of the Sparking-stars Reading Plan In Elementary Schools In Taipei County Meng Hsi, Chang Abstract The purpose of the study is to discuss the implementation of the Sparkling-stars Reading Plan in elementary schools in Taipei County. Compare the different background between variable factors, and analyze the correlation and divination of the implementation and participation of the school members who took part in the Sparking-stars Reading Plan. After that, according to the research, some suggestions were made to help not only advancing the popularizing of the Sparking-stars Reading Plan but also improving the reading atmosphere in elementary schools in Taipei County. The study was adopted by analyzing the documents and the filled out questionnaires, and collection and analysis of information. All the research into reading improving plans and implement were made in two methods. The first is the questionnaires I made about “the current situation of the Sparkling-stars Reading Plan in the elementary schools in Taipei County”, which was aim to ask those activity executors who comes from forty-four elementary schools in Taipei County about the current situation of the school they are in. After that, I compile the statistics and the information as well. Second, I asked 601 people faculty who came from different primary schools in Taipei County about “the Sparkling-stars Reading Plan” by the other questionnaire. After that, the data were analyzed by mean value, t challenge and one-way analysis of variance. According to the above mentioned, the main findings of this research is presented follows: 1. Generally speaking, reading plans were made to correspond to their need in most elementary schools. 2. Reading activities were set into action in the very first classes in the morning, and it usually last for forty to eighty minutes. 3. The elementary schools in Taipei county that were completely equipped with hardware and software so as to effectively support the reading activities. 4. Each school has steady founds for popularizing reading activities. Among the founds for reading activities, buying new books took the most part of the founds. 5. The schools effectively mold a studying atmosphere out of carrying out the plans in multiple ways. 6. The principals have positive attitude towards carrying out the reading plans, the teachers are highly approving of seminars as well. 7. The faculty remains affirmative attitude towards the results of the reading improving plans that holds by the primary schools in Taipei County. 8. The faculty has their opinion on popularizing the reading improving plans in unanimity regardless of the schools’ location or the scale of the schools. 9. While popularizing the plans, the teachers generally think that they don’t have enough time to carry out the plans. This should not be emphasize enough. 10. On account of achieving the goal of letting the parents participate in children’s reading, most of the faculty expect parents to join the reading improving plans. 11. Lectures about parents read with their children could be held more often on the grounds that currently, the lectures about reading are held for teachers and volunteers. 12. The schools hope that the libraries’ function could be expend so as to support teachers’ teaching and students’ learning. 13. In light of the requirement of faculty’s need of the compilation of research into reading education, lectures about compiling research into reading can be held by schools more often. 14. Activities about reading that held by schools seldom take place in the form of study groups. As a result, it requires everyone working in concert with each other.
