Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 資訊科學系碩士班 === 98 === The applications and services for Vehicular Ad-hoc Network have been deployed in recent years, including the provision of traffic safety and comfort services that the vehicular users can obtain traffic information from service providers. Also, context aware service has become one of the most promising topics for ubiquitous computing. In this thesis, we focus on developing OSGi (Open Service Gateway Initiative) based context aware service to provide adaptive information. According to user’s demands, applications and value-added services which are provided by remote software service providers will be downloaded dynamically to the car gateways with information and services required by users, providing automatic renewal of related information and services. We are intended to develop an automatic mechanism with which vehicular users can be automatically provided with adaptive services. By using JESS Markup Language (JessML), the semantic information of contexts can be easily described, shared and reused. Besides, Java expert system shell (JESS) is used for automatically reasoning adaptive services for users. Finally, the reasoning results will map in OSGi platform, and the service provider in OSGi platform will provide appropriate service for vehicular users. An illustrative example with our prototype system shows that through the proposed context aware mechanisms, vehicular users can easily obtain proper services in vehicular ad hoc networks.
