The design of the research was single subject with alternated experiment teaching. Three second-grade students with low achievement in Chinese were participated in this study. The student’s reading fluency and word recognition were compared between repeated reading of multi-media picture books and traditional teacher’s assistance. The procedures and results were both evaluated and analyzed based on visual analysis. Here are the results of this study: 1.Reading fluency and word recognition could be promoted by both repeated reading of multimedia picture books and repeated reading with traditional teacher’s assistance. 2.There was no difference in reading fluency between the two methods. 3.Only one subject shows better word recognition after receiving repeated reading of multi-media picture books; however, there is no difference within the other subjects between these two methods. 4.All the subjects prefer repeated reading of multi-media picture books and the instructors acknowledge the effectiveness.
