The purpose of this research is to understand the attitude and behavior of the usage of student network usage of the upperclassman studying in elementary schools of Datong district in Taipei City, and investigate the impact between different backgrounds to the different situation of internet activities, network behaviors and network attitude of student network usage among the upperclassman in elementary school, , then analyze the relationship between internet activities, network behavior and network attitude of the upperclassman’s student network usage.
This research adopts a questionnaire survey method to carry out data collections, with the research focused on the middle and high grade elementary school students of Datong District in Taipei City. Study utilizes "Questionnaire of the attitude of the middle and higher grade students’ network and behavior in Datong District in Taipei City ", and the questionnaire, using cluster sample, distills 928 effective samplings. Data are statistic and analyze by varies ways such as the Descriptive Statistics, t -test, Single Factor ANOVA, Pearson's product-moment correlation etc.
The study reaches to a conclusion as followed:
(1). The most familiar type of network activity of the middle and higher grade students in the elementary school participation is "game type" and "interaction type".
(2). The network activity of the middle and higher grade students in the elementary school participation varies because of sex, disparity age, net age, ways of using internet, frequency of using internet, time spend in Internet and status of the internet usage of their family.
(3). The overall network behavior of middle and higher grade students in the elementary school, " management type " behavior is greater than "download type" behavior .
(4). The overall network activity of the middle and higher grade students in the elementary school participation varies because of sex, disparity age, net age, frequency of using internet and time spend in Internet.
(5). The overall network attitude of middle and higher grade students in the elementary school, "Useful type" the highest score, "anxiety-type" the lowest score.
(6). The overall network attitude of the middle and higher grade students in the elementary school participation varies because of sex, disparity age, net age, frequency of using internet and time spend in Internet .
(7).The activities and behavior of network usage of middle and higher grade students in the elementary school are extremely related, with the same situation between internet attitude and behavior; the relation of internet activities and attitude exist, but not strong.
Last, suggestions are made according to the study and conclusion, as a reference for parent, school, education administration organization and future study.
