There were total of 58 schoolchildren divided into the control group of 29 students learning the general textbook and the experimental group of 29 students learning the own teaching material. They are evaluated by the ‘Oceanic Education Efficacy Examination’ just turning the third grade and after two-semester teaching. focuses on the own teaching material in oceanic knowledge to do the educational research. Furthermore, the individual learning results of different topics before and after implementation of two-semester teaching are analyzed in order to compare the learning efficacy between the general textbook and the own teaching materials in different topics. The results show that (1) the schoolchildren just turning to the third grade lack the oceanic knowledge; (2) after studying in the general textbook the oceanic knowledge of the schoolchild in the third grade was improved but still limited; (3) the oceanic knowledge of the schoolchild after learning the own teaching material in oceanic knowledge is greatly improved; and (4) both the teaching and leaning efficacies of the own teaching material are much better than the general textbook.
