Gravel transportation is one of process to provide products and services. However gravel transportation on environment and social cause irreparable damage and impact. At the same time gravel industry competition each other of reduce its income under the condition. Consequently become the international point for developing gradually in the idea of "sustainable development", with reduced energy conservation and carbon emission target soon. All aim at fuel efficiency, transportation management and clean fuel usage's etc. How can use limited energy and environmental resource to satisfy traffic demand and maintain transportation quality, provided feasible technology and caused few economic, environmental and social impact strategy. According to the freight transportation carbon dioxide emissions model to find key factor on freight transportation, and linked relationship of factor and sustainable strategy. Final apply a new assessment tool SEEbalance which compares the relative superiority of products, processes and strategy by evaluating their economical, environmental and social performance. This study assessed the current gravel transport as a case study to assess the transport of three types of gravel transport (road, rail and road transportation, sea and road transportation) good or bad. Assessment results to the use of road transportation on the economic, environmental and social impact of serious, it is not recommended to be used mode of transportation. Overall, according to results of evaluation can be given to gravel transportation relation findings and recommendations, and also by providing disscusion of case study for the freight transportation towards the sustainable development of the new assessment, in order to freight transportation sector in the provision of intangible services can be balance about economic, environmental and social.
