Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 音樂學系在職進修碩士班 === 98 === The research aimed to explore the Japanese Trendy Drama: “Nodame Cantabile – European Chapter” This special chapter is severed as research material for vocational music course and by studying and observing the related boom, it also supplemented researcher to discover the influence of the trend. The researcher is a teacher at a vocational high school that is located farther away from regional metropolitan area. The vocational school students have not only lack of understanding of the European fine art but also have the gap due to the resource differences between urban and rural areas. The study is expected to achieve the learning effectiveness by brining into young people’s popular culture such as the Japanese dram series. The study is mainly based on qualitative research methods to analysis and action research-based. For students from different majors, the study designed eight different themes of music courses and during the researching period, the researcher stayed in Tokyo, Japan to observe the effect of “Nodame Phenomenon”. From text analysis, the extraction possessed a vivid variety of ‘interdisciplinary” subject areas, such as drama, the main figure, comparison of different cultures, music, tourism and other fields. At last, through observation and performance evaluation, the research has concluded seven dimensions: 1. The study enriches music teachers to have a broader vision and to encourage them to try and make the best use of new teaching supplemental materials. This has not only achieved the purpose of teaching but also advanced teachers’ teaching capacity. 2. Popularity of Japanese drama series has declined due to the phenomenon of Korean drama getting popular. However, cultural and geographical proximity combined with mass media and internet reasons, the Japanese drama series is still the favor of Japanese TV drama fans and young people. 3. The trend of mass population such as Japanese drama made young people resonated with the motivation to learn. The “motivation and belief”,” Worship and Learning”, ”Broaden the horizons and cultural imitation” kind of mental processes can help achieving the “social learning theory” concept. 4. With the concept of domestic and foreign culture that Japanese expressed, to observe and learn from Japanese trendy drama "Nodame Cantabile" for the perspective of European fine music. Through this, it helps to reduce the cognitive gap between students from urban and rural areas. Students are also able to compare similarities and differences between Japanese and European nationalism. 5. Base on the text analysis of Japanese trendy drama “Nodame Cantabile ─ European Chapter”, design systematic and target characteristics for teaching courses. It has the best performance to vocational students in Department of Tourism, followed by students from Department of Food and Beverage. The main factor of the result is due to the course relevance of the theme and the school “PR” value-related. 6. “Nodame Cantabile” introduced “Nodame Phenomenon” The business strategy and cultural effects in Japan and Taiwan are indeed in existence. Started from the end of 2006, it has evolved into classical music related community naturally. 7. “Nodame Cantabile” made a good performance on helping building up music courses. However, the mass popularity and commercialization are the main factors to reduce the time for learners to possess good learning motivation.
