Not only is exterior appeal pursued, but excellent quality, high accuracy in regard to dimensions and satisfactory water resistance are also strictly required. According to Taiwan''s current status, case of the manufacturing watch case methods currently dominated by cold stamping processing technique. However, the stamping process spend the most time and money which need to use seven types of dies used for cold stamping (including three upper dies for extended punch and two lower dies for forming purposes), dies may be improved to save development costs. The primary purpose of manufacturing system realization is to control the major manufacturing process parameters, including labor hours, process shift, and standby and shutdown duration. It is implemented by carefully analyzing each production cell during the manufacturing process and seeking feasible solutions. Thus, this study was to investigate the efficiency of hot stamping processing technique in watch case manufacturing by combining the manufacturing processes and improving the dies. The results indicate that the hot stamping method indeed greatly reduced the costs compared to the cold stamping process. The duration of the hot stamping process is only one-fourth of the one of the cold stamping process. The cost of the hot stamping process is half of the one of the cold stamping process.
