Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教育經營與管理研究所碩士班 === 98 === The purposes of the study are to find out the key success factors of characteristic schools of elementary schools, understanding the reaction of respondents with different background toward the key success factors, and obtaining the relative weights of the key success factors. The methodology used in the study was questionnaire survey which included two data collection stages. Firstly, 75 characteristic elementary schools awarded the prize in 2007-2009 and 475 samples including principals, deans, and teachers were chosen by random sampling from these schools. The results showed that: 1. All aspects of key success factors mentioned in the questionnaire were rated higher than the average score of the scale and the Principal Leadership was the highest aspect while the Strategic Alliance dimension was the least one relatively. 2. Gender, age, position, service seniority, education background, school size and location were the demographic variables which influenced the differences of response on each dimension of key success factors. Secondly, the questionnaire of Analysis Network Process (ANP) was sent to 14 principals whose schools have been awarded the top prize of characteristic elementary schools in 2007-2009. The results showed that: 1. The relative importance of the weights for each dimension of the key success factors could be listed orderly as the followings: Curriculum and Teaching, Administration management, School Marketing Strategy, and External Resources dimension. 2. The relative importance of the weights for each aspect of the key success factors could be ranked by the following order: Characteristic Curriculum, Innovative Management, Teacher Teaching, Principle Leadership, Community Relationship, External Marketing, Internal Marketing, and Strategic Alliance. Finally, some suggestions are put forth to be the reference points for educational administrators, elementary school principals and researches.
