Document analysis, observation, field check and individual interviews and other research methods, in-depth investigation and collection of Kaohsiung, a barrier-free facilities for primary status, includes outdoor access, ramps and handrails, refuge floor entrance, interior entrances, an indoor channel corridors, stairs, lifting equipment, toilets and parking space, accessible toilet facilities. Understanding of accessibility on campus from the research environment and facilities meet the legal standard conditions and the needs of the user satisfaction as a future barrier-free schools and relevant units on campus planning, implementation and improvement of reference. Through observation, field check and interview teachers and students in special education, found that schools wheelchair accessible facilities in addition to not set the audience seats, the rest are set, but "lifting equipment", "ramps and handrails," "the stairs" "toilet toilet" and "parking space" settings do not meet legal requirements. "Ramp", "outdoor channel", "indoor access corridors", "stairs" Although provisions of the law, but in real use, it will cause operational barriers so that users are not satisfied and need to improve on hope the future provision as soon as possible to improve easily lead to inconvenience and danger of the barrier-free facilities. Promotion of barrier-free campus environment can not only enhance the students ability to act, but also to expand their vision of life. Provide a barrier-free environment for students in a safe, convenient campus happy to learn, can implement the "zero reject" and "individualized" educational ideal. I hope the flat barrier-free school environment in the design and planning, will carefully consider the actual needs of students with physical disabilities, and to properly manage and maintain, in order to allow barrier-free concept of the campus environment can play.
