In this study the actual cause of outstanding academic records from the students whose families are considered working class is examined. Based on the research results, specific suggestions are presented for the reference of school and family education. The Program for International Student Assessment (PISA2006) is applied in this study as database for quantitative analysis method, which is conducted to achieve the study purpose. Subjects in this analysis are Taiwanese student, and the effective sample number of students is 7924. The outcomes from this analysis are processed by Documentary analysis and Crosstabs table, Cramer’s V, Logistic Regression Analysis, and Multiple Linear Regression. Following are the summary of the analysis: 1.The students from work class families have better academic performance on “Math”. 2.Different variables regarding the students from work class families who had outstanding academic records lead to differences on the outcomes. 3.How the students from work class families acquired outstanding academic records are determined by the factors that are not related to schools.. According to the findings above, we have some suggestions: 1.For school education: Diminish the gap between city and village by balancing the resources allocation and stimulus to every school. 2.For family education: Give the children more inspiration and opportunity of learning.
