Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 教育學系課程與教學碩士班 === 98 === The purpose of this research could be put specifically: 1) probe into the relations between family education and reading literacy of four-grade elementary school students, 2) probe into the relations between school education and reading literacy of four-grade elementary school students, 3) probe into the differentiated predictability between family education and school education regarding Reading Literacy and School Performance on four-grade elementary school students ,and 4) offer feasible suggestions according to the research result.
This research adopts questionnaire method. The research objects are the four graders from the public elementary schools of Tainan county、Tainan city、Kaohsiung county、Kaohsiung city and Pingtung county. Utilizing the method of convenience sampling. The total numbers of the students filling in the questionnaire is 725, and that of valid questionnaire586. After keying in the questionnaire data, analysis and test are undergone by mean of the statistic methods such as percentage frequently distribution, product movement correlation .The following are the findings of the study:
Ⅰ. Reading literacy of elementary school students to School performance are related plainly.
Ⅱ. Elementary school students’ family education are related plainly to reading literacy.
Ⅲ. Elementary school students’ school education are related plainly to reading literacy.
Ⅳ. It’s to explain that reading literacy based on family education and school education .
Ⅴ. It’s to explain that achievement based on family education and school education .
Ⅵ. It’s to explain differenceed that reading literacy and achievement based on family education and school education .
In accordance with the chief part of discovery and conclusion from this research, the suggestions concerning many aspects like schools, parents, and follow-up study are put forward.
