Feet may be functionally categorized into kinds of types on the basis of arch height. The most research materials all lies in the influence of arch on lower limbs, but the less talk about the changes on pelvis or above. Concerning the disease of human posture, some researches often differentiate them into two fields, upper and lower limbs, to develop individually. Scoliosis do affect human body very seriously. When spinal cord is oppressed in long term, it will cause many disease and morbidity as well. However, from the scoliosis patients, the cop of their foot pressure will deflect to some inertia point of descent as well as the foot pressure distribution will be different from the normal person’s. This research is to use force plane and foot pressure measuring system to analyze the correlation between the type of arch and scoliosis on scoliosis patients and normal person, through biomechanics viewpoint and statistical method.
