Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 材料科學系碩士班 === 98 === The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between students’ scientific attitudes and students’ perceptions of science teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge and science classroom environments. Two hundred and sixteen fifth-grade elemantary school students in Kaohsiung city were surveyed by three questionnaires as entitled “Science-related Attitudes Scale”, “Pupils’ Perceptions of Science Teachers’ PCK” and “What Is Happening in This Classroom?”. Statistical methods, i.e. one-way ANOVA, Scheffé’s post hoc comparison, t-test, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, and multiple regression analysis, were adopted to analyze the data collected from questionnaires. The findings of this study are shown as follows. 1.The higher students’ perceptions of science teachers’ PCK, the higher students’ scientific attitudes. 2.The higher students’ perceptions of classroom environments, the higher students’ scientific attitudes.. 3.There is no significant differences between different students’ genders in the perceptions of science teachers’ PCK, classroom environments, and students’ scientific attitudes. 4.There are positive correlations among the perceptions of science teachers’ PCK, classroom environments, and students’ scientific attitudes. 5.The perceptions of science teachers’ PCK and classroom environments could positively predict students’ scientific attitudes. According to these results, we propose some suggestions to educators and recommendations for further researches and teaching needs.
