| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 國語文學系碩士班 === 98 === The dissertation mainly emphasized on Yi-Jun Luo’s novels which created in decades. Through all the clues, resources of literature, and inheritance lying in Luo’s writing background, we constructed the core thought in Luo’s novels, including the aesthetic of forsaken, the aesthetic of ruins and the search of self-identity. Meanwhile we generalized the main arrangement of ideas in Luo’s novels, such as writing of diaspora, writing of death, writing of ethic groups and writing of dreams, that constructed the unique universe of Yi-Jun Luo. When Luo became bright in the literary circles, there were countless titles such as “the great one in literary circles of E generation”, “the leader of 1950’s writers”, “the fierce writer” and “the gossip of literary circles”. However, behind the appearance, we still tried to separate a pure “Yi-Jun Luo”, who indulged in the writing and searched the waste land ascetically. From the strange description, Luo told us the ambiguous things, secrets, and indifference among people. Although writing was a fictitious skill, it made we sympathize with the common memory. I expected for the direct connection between the Lou’s novels and the cultivation and multiculturalism after finishing my dissertation.
