Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 數位內容科技學系碩士班 === 98 === With the development of educational environment, technology and internet, the portal websites of elementary schools in Taiwan have more and more variety. This research provides a model of school portal website which is suitable for students’ parents. The model is based on the theory of website management, website design and website evaluation, and combines what campus website needs and the satisfaction survey, to develop a school portal website with suitable content and frame for parents. In this way, school will be able to send school messages efficiently and open a channel to recruit students. There are 300 request questionnaires given, 250 received and 238 questionnaires out of 250 are regarded as valid ones. Besides, there are 252 satisfaction questionnaires filled out by students’ parents and 243 out of 252 are valid. The data is analyzed by SPSS to compile statistics. The important findings of the research are as follows.
1.The contents of school website: The contents of school website are listed according to the needs of students’ parents. The website contents include school introduction, student area, school information, website information, learning resources, interactive area, and internet resources. Students’ parents emphasize the function of school website as a linking channel to get school latest news and students’ learning resources.
2.The design of school website: Students’ parents need an easy-to-understand website with comfortable background, color, font, coherent webpage, clear guiding design, and fast internet access speed.
3.Students’ parents’ satisfaction level has obvious relationship with school website’s usefulness and easy access. The easier and more useful the school website is, the higher satisfaction level parents would have. The parents’ cognition of easiness of the school website would impact their cognition of usefulness of the school website.The internet surfing frequency of students’ parents has obvious relationship with their satisfaction level of the school website.
