Through the survey-questionnaire and interview methods, the data was collected and analyzed to understand the current situation of class delivery at the children’s discovery room for preschool teachers and the needs and satisfaction toward the children’s discovery room. This study distributed the questionnaires by postal mail and received 76 valid questionnaires. Among the teachers, this study selected those were willing to be interviewed. Finally, two teachers accepted the interview. The finding of the research shows: 1. The teachers would take the class requirement, exploring teaching method and hands-on practices into consideration for going to the children’s discovery room. 2. The software and hardware equipments provided by the children’s discovery room, hands-on practices and exploration are the teachers’ greatest demand for the learning room of natural science. 3. The teachers were satisfied with the hands-on practices, the environment for exploring nature and the complete software and hardware equipments provided by the children’s discovery room. 4. The teaching resources (perception, function) provided by the children’s discovery room all meet the teachers’ needs. The teachers also gave positive comments on current design and the way of planning of the children’s discovery room. The teachers believe that the Children’s Discovery Room offers a practical and applied learning environment to allow children experiencing and discovering. Besides, it is a very good off-campus teaching place for childhood education because of the well-equipped facilities, security, appropriate environment and neat materials.
