The questionnaire undertaken is based on 495 elementary school members in 41 schools with teacher's association. The instrument used in this study were Conflict Between Teachers and Parents in Taichung. The data obtained from random sampling are analyzed according to t-test,one-way ANOVA and canonical. The findings are as follows: 1.The parent-teacher conflicts happen between once a month and once a semester. 2.The reasons resulting parents and teachers conflicts are “parents’ misunderstanding caused by their children’s miscommunication”, “parents go talk to the principal or the director first instead of the teachers”, “different attitudes towards the discipline of children” and “no sign of improving of children’s inadequate behaviors after teachers have talked to the parents. 3.The responding strategies adopted by teachers in resolving parent-teacher conflicts in the order of adopting frequency are compromising, competing and collaborating. 4.The elementary school members of different background variables think there is no significant difference in the responding strategies of the parent-teacher conflicts. 5.There is a difference in the management of the parent-teacher conflicts of the elementary school members of different background variables.
