Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺中教育大學 === 數學教育學系在職進修教學碩士學位班 === 98 === The purpose of this study is to create a test on fraction multiplication for the sixth grade students of the elementary school. Based on the test, the analysis of the statistical results of the tests and the statistical results of the items were generated. TestGraf98 graphing software was used to analyze how the sixth grade students react to the questions on the test. The test results show how the students understand the concept of the fraction multiplication. The study result will be a reference for teaching and evaluating in schools. The study objects are the sixth grade students of an elementary school in Taichung County. The study tool is “the Test of Fraction Multiplication”. The study results are as follows. ⒈ The analysis of the test and items ⑴ The reliability coefficient of Cronbach’s α of the test is 0.887, which is the test of good reliability. ⑵ The content validity of the test is good. ⑶ The average difficulty index of the items is 0.67, which belongs to the middle slanting simple items. ⑷ The average discrimination index of the items is 0.56, which are the items with of excellent discrimination. ⒉ The item option characteristic curve of the test ⑴ According to the shapes, there are three types of item option characteristic curve. ⑵ All of the distracters of the multiple-choice items has distraction. ⒊ The understanding conditions of sixth graders of the elementary school on fraction multiplication are: ⑴ Low-ability students feel difficult in learning mixed fraction multiplication. ⑵ Low-ability students have some misconceptions in learning fraction multiplication.
