Three subjects were 9 to 10 years old elementary school students with moderate mental retardation. The multiple-probe across behavior design was used in this study. The independent variable was computer multimedia teaching and the dependent variable were the percents of correct response of managing money. Data were collected on the three subjects during baseline, intervention, maintenance and generalization phases . The MCAI program lasted for consecutive 9 weeks and it was conducted 3 times a week. Visual analysis and the C statistic were used in this study in order to analyze the effects of using MCAI to train the skills of managing money for elementary school students with moderate mental retardation. The social validity analysis was also supplemented by interviewing parents. Results of this study were summarized as followings: 1.The MCAI program is effective on the acquisition of managing money skills for the Elementary School Students with moderate mental retardation 2.The MCAI program is also effective in maintaining managing money skills on three of subjects 3.The MCAI program is effective in generalizing managing money skills on three of subjects. 4.Interviews with three parents have indicated that this research has a high social validity.
