To guarantee the quality and client-centeredness of care, it is necessary to develop standards and indicators to guide the process and methods of service provision throughout the course of dementia care. Thus, this research aims to identify the quality indicators (QIs) for different stages of dementia care. The objectives of this study are: (1) constructing the QIs of dementia care; (2) proposing practical suggestions for the service provision and policy planning in the field of dementia care. The exploration of quality indicators were achieved with two-round modified Delphi method. Results showed that 115 quality indicators has been identified across the six stages of dementia care, namely screening (10 QIs), diagnosis/ assessment (18 QIs), treatment (11 QIs), care planning/ service transition (7 QIs), service provision (58 QIs), and following up (11 QIs). Such indicators can help to direct the development of a comprehensive dementia care model and methods of quality assessment. Hong-Jer Chang 張宏哲 2010 學位論文 ; thesis 92 zh-TW
