However traditional tourism is extremely easy to have certain impact’s on nature and humanities resources. It usually has negative influences to the quality of residential living conditions and social culture. This research discusses the attitude of the Chipen’s tourists toward eco-tourism, their experience on eco-tourism, and the willingness to pay for the protection of environment and eco-tourism. The results of this research are as follows: 1.The manner of major tourists on eco-tourism are positive for most options obtaining over 70% agreement. 2.Eco-tourism firstly is the highest in the inner part of the Chipen hot spring area, so that one can promote eco-tourism in this area.3. Eco-tourism manner is better and highly obtained in the area of eastern tourist、the high pedagogue、and waits for jobs.4.The average of the willingness to pay for the protection of ecology is 947.75 N.T.D.The other willingness to pay is 121.45 N.T.D. Although the willingness to pay is less than that of the proection of ecology. But its proportion of payment is quit high. It demonstrates that ecotourism will have vitality into local travel , and will help for the development of local economy as well as maintain ecology resources. It will be sure the important pattern for the development of sightseeing industry.
