碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 熱帶農業暨國際合作系所 === 98 === Content of Abstract： In recent years, the government has been vigorously promoting the revitalization and reutilization of historical places. Nevertheless, owing to the lack of population (both residents and tourists) and the lack of planning by the government, some of the existing facilities have been reduced to the so called “Mosquito House”. Therefore I would like to study from combining the reutilization of the Dong-Sing power station and the needs of the community. Through exploring related literature and empirical study, I research the cognition of local community on the reutilization of Dong-Sing power station as well as its understanding and practice of participatory planning. The study took place in April, 2010. Three hundereds questionnaires were distributed to the Dong-Sing community (Taromak Tribe) and 297 samples were retrieved, 278 were viable, return rate is 93.6%. The results show that the community recognizes Dong-Sing power station as a life shock. Secondly, locals have fair knowledge of socio-economic culture and change in environment. The results also show that the Dong-Sing community has high interest and involvement in participating the planning of the regeneration of Dong-Sing power station. In addition, from the population ANOVA results, the difference in people in the understanding and level of involvement on the reutilization of Dong-Sing power station is significant. Finally, the high level of involvement of locals on the reutilization of III Dong-Sing power station shows a strong positive correlation to the acknowledgement of the activity (r=0.478, P＜0.01).
