With the growth of social networking service websites, the interpersonal relationships in the virtual world are gradually forming. While people want to broadcast message by means of these relationships they don’t find it work every time. The literatures had indicated that interpersonal network was an important factor in message propagating. Therefore, this study attempts to explore how the network ties affecting members’ message propagating behaviors in the virtual world. Unlike past studies discussing this issue in closed networks, message propagating behaviors in Facebook were observed and discussed in this study.The researcher of this study initiate an activity on the Facebook. A program developed from APIs (application program interface) of Facebook were used to collect message propagating behaviors of people. After case data analysis, this study proposes that message propagating behaviors in virtual world were affected by the time factor, network ties, and characteristics of people.
