Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 工業管理系所 === 98 === Because of the development of technology in recent years, the usage of button on traditional electronic product is replaced by touch to accomplish interaction with the system. However, some academic studies show that users come across problems when using small touchscreen electronic products, such as touching incorrectly, products’ identification, and interference by the fingers. This research based on the human-computer interaction to realize the reason of these problems. This study uses observation, interview and focus group to collect data from the interaction of users and small touchscreen electronic products. The results of this study shows that the interaction between the user and small touchscreen electronic product do cause lots of problems. The main reason of these problems is that many the touchscreen electronic products utilize the “hierarchy-menu mode” in operation. Besides, monitor limitation and complicated procedure which is easy to cause workload during the operation. If the system could adopt “textual menu with classified icons mode”, the users can easily find the function they need at the first time and reduce the inconvenience. Finally, five suggestions are provided from this study and they are: 1. The plan of option list, 2. Providing appropriate feedback, 3. Avoiding discordant design, 4. Reducing the false design from the external factor, 5. Enhancing the interactions between systems. This study also contribute to provide references for the design of the small touchscreen electronic products in the near future.
