The main method of this research was survey. The instruments for this survey were from researcher. The total reliability was .935and.726; the total validity was 74.539% and 73.380%. Besides, the data were analyzed through statistical methods such as t-test, one-way ANOVA, open coding, and axial coding. The main conclusions were as following: Ⅰ.The factor of parents’ school choice were including school characteristic choice, interpersonal network choice, education quality choice,curriculum characteristic choice and the power of influence on educational content. Ⅱ. The styles of school-community relation management included self-sufficient, Non-interference, Well-rounded, and Mobile style. Ⅲ. The principals of elementary and middle schools in Pingdong had high consciousness that parents’ school choice influence on school education. Ⅳ. The elementary and middle schools in Pingdong , below 12 classes ,there were lower consciousness than schools, 13-48 classes, about this discoussion. Ⅴ. The school-community relation management in the style of Well-rounded was 73.1% in Pingdong. Ⅵ. The ways to raise proportion of entering were to make completely inner school, and to increase communication with external school. Ⅶ. The ways to raise competency of schools through school-community relation management included political, interpersonal, and the cultural plane. ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research was to understand that the consciousness of the principal about the parent’s school choice influence on ele-mentary and middle school, and to understand these principal’s styles of school-community relation management.
