Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 體育學系 === 98 === The Research of Volleyball Team members Cognition toward Coach Leading style & Team Unity in Elementary Schools of Kaohsiung & Pingtung Areas Abstract The purpose of the research was to study the relationship between volleyball players cognition toward their coaches leading behaviors and team unity.It was designed to analyze the diversities and characteristics between them according to their different background variables. And the related questionnaires as research tools were completed by 291 elementary school players in Kaohsiung & Pingtung areas. Main findings to this research were as follows: First ,in cognitive coach leading style analysis, came first the identification degree and the expectancy that each team member do their best finishing their tasks ;whereas in the analysis of team unity, came first the support teammates offered when any other players out of shape during practice. Second, the variables made obvious differences in coach leading style cognition were players gender, grade, training time, training time with the same coach and the coach’s school duty. Third, the variables made distinct differences in team unity were players gender and their best record played. Fourth, behaviors of training and coaching, democracy ,social support and reward were in distinct positive connection with individuals team goal attraction, individuals teamwork attraction, team assignments, team social interaction. Tyrannical behaviors, in contrast, were in negative connection with them.
