The study was carried on the comparison of fitness differences of three hundred and forty-four silver peers in Taichung. The study applied the test of the aged’s fitness as a research method for examining their fitness and collected information. The independent variables were the personal background factors such as gender, age, exercise frequency and exercise duration. The dependent variable was the silver peers’ physical fitness. The statistical analysis was carried out by descriptive analysis, T-test and one-way ANOVA. The results are as following: 1. From the aspect of the gender variable, as for the male group, the men who didn’t steadily join exercise groups were superior to those who steadily joined exercise groups in the flexibility. The women who steadily joined exercise groups were superior to those who didn’t steadily join exercise groups in swifts’ reaction and cardiovascular endurance. The male group who steadily joined exercise group was only superior to those who didn’t join exercise groups in cardiovascular endurance. 2. From the aspect of the age variable, people who steadily joined exercise groups were more superior to those who didn’t join exercise groups in cardiovascular endurance. 3. From the aspect of exercise frequency variable, people who exercised more were superior to those who exercised less in cardiovascular endurance. 4. From the aspect of different exercise duration variable, the results of the deviation of each testing item didn’t achieve significant levels. From the results of the tests of silver peers’ fitness, the aged who steadily joined leisure exercise groups had better performances in physical fitness than those who didn’t join exercise groups. The results of the study suggest that the following researchers can inquire more the effects of male silver peers participating leisure exercise groups who engage in more energetic exercise.
