Adopting documentary analysis and questionnaire survey, the researcher used “Work Stress Scale” and “Parent-child Relationship Scale” as main research instruments. With random sampling, the study focused at married female elementary school teachers as population. The effective samples were 384 out of 400 questionnaires administered by the researcher. The collected data were analyzed by way of the software package SPSS 12.0 for windows, including t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe’method , Pearson’s product-moment correlation , Canonical correlation and Stepwise multiple regressions. Finding from the analysis are summarized as follows: 1. The perceived work stress of married female elementary school teachers is under average level. Specifically, the highest degree of work stress was “Teaching work”. 2. The perceived parent-child relationship of married female elementary school teachers is above average level. Specifically, the highest degree of parent-child relationship was “Intimate feeling”. 3. Married female teachers aging from 31 to 40 have more work stress than others. 4. There are not significant differences founded in the elementary school teachers’ parent-child relationship in terms of personal background. 5.
