Summary: | 碩士 === 高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 98 === This thesis was a qualitative study, in which in-depth interviews were conducted to interpret the process of a novice female principal changing her role of an administrator. Also, in this study, the researcher probed into the valuable experiences this female principal has to share, which included her participation in taking the principal-qualification exam and school principal nomination. Last but not least, this study discussed the issue about some of the challenges the principal was facing in the role of a novice principal.
The following are the research conclusions:
1.The practical experiences the novice female principal had acquired as a director would help her to give useful instructions to the directors of every division in the school.
2.The appreciation and promotion she had received from other senior principals taught her to treat her subordinates in the same way.
3.The relationships between all the directors that the novice principal got during the work of director would become helpful resources.
4.Participation in the study group would help to increase the chance to pass the principal-qualification exam.
5.To have calm and positive attitudes would be helpful for increasing the abilities of principal leadership and communication.
6.Regular exercise and healthy lifestyle was helpful to increase the novice female principal’s physical.
