An object of the study is the 5th and 6th graders from Kaohsiung municipal elementary schools. By sampling from clusters divided by proportion of school numbers in every district, example school number are: 7 from north area and 7 from south area. 28 classes result from randomly choosing 1 class in each senior grade from each one of 14 schools. Finally, 872 of 980 questionnaires for students work Items of each questionnaire include personal information, a survey of family atmosphere, a survey of self-concept and a survey of interpersonal relationship. Data are analyzed with statistics methods such as descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and Stepwise multiple regression. Results are as follows: 1. Senior graders in elementary schools go well in family atmosphere, self-concept and interpersonal relationship. 2. Senior graders in elementary schools in background variables have extremely different situations in family atmosphere, self-concept and interpersonal relationship. 3. Senior graders in elementary schools under varied family atmosphere and self-concept have extremely different attitudes toward interpersonal relationship. Students with more pleasure in family atmosphere and self-concept, they go better in interpersonal relations. 4. Attitude family atmosphere, self-concept and interpersonal relationship of senior graders in elementary schools have direct correlation obviously. 5. Family atmosphere and self-concept of senior graders in elementary schools can be regarded as reference data of predicting their interpersonal relationship.
