Summary: | 博士 === 高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 98 === The purposes of this study were to explore the influence of vocational high school teachers’change factor, change resistance on change strategy, to explore the influence of vocational high school teachers’demographic variables on teachers’ change factor, change resistance and change strategy, to find the correlations among vocational high school teachers’ change factor, change resistance and change strategy, and to analyze the main predictive factors on vocational high school teachers’ change strategy.
The populations were 5664 teachers and the subjects were 475 teachers drawing from public vocational high schools in Taiwan . The instruments included the self-invented questionare of the change factor scale, the change resistance scale and the change strategy scale. For the statistics, they were included descriptive test, t-test, one way ANOVA, pearson correalation, and step-wise multiple regression.
The conclusions were as follows
1.The present degree for vocational high school change factor, change resistance was in moderate level, and the present degree for change strategy, strategic vision was in important level. For the school type, the teachers hope to keep the status in quo.
2.The impact on the vocational school teachers’ change factors were from the inside factor of the school and the group of the teachers’ change factor score , change resistence score were low have high score of change strategy.
3.Overall, there were significant differences existed among the variables of teachers’ sex is male, age over 50, teaching years over 20, teaching subject in agriculture, administrational years over 11, job is principal , school scale is large, school type is vocational with comprehensive school on the variables of teachers’ change factor, and there were significant differences existed among the variables of teachers’ age over 50, teaching years over 20, administrational years over 11, job is principal , school district is urban area, and school type is large on the variables of teachers’ change resistances, and there were significant differences existed among the variables of teachers’ age over 50, teaching years over 30, administrational years over 11, and job is principal on the variables of teachers’ change strategy.
4.Overall, the variables of technical process and personal could most negatively predict teachers’ change strategy, and the variable of job is principal could most positively predict teachers’ change strategy.
Base on the results, this study had provided some suggestions for educational administrations, vocational high school principals, teachers and future studiers.
