The research approach is through literature and questionnaire investigation, by way of collecting and analyzing the statistical materials. The literature includes the relevant domestic and international research on organizational change, psychological contract and teaching efficiency. The questionnaire targets 502 teachers from 39 public junior high schools in kaohsiung, including the junior departments of complete high schools. The self-compiled questionnaire teacher's entitled “ A Research on the relationship of the awareness of organizational change, psychological contract and teaching efficiency among the junior high school teachers in Kaohsiung” serves as the study tool. The information gathered from the questionnaire investigation is processed by the T-test of SPSS12.0 computer software, Chinese edition, as well as the statistical methods of oneway ANOVA, Pehrson's cross-product correlation, and typical correlation and multiple regression. Based on the result of data analysis, this research reaches the following conclusions: 1. The degree of organizational change in junior high schools is above average; the “technical equipment“ is the best among them. 2. The degree of psychological contract in junior high schools is above average, and the “trade type contract “ is the best among them. 3. The degree of teaching efficiency is excellent, and the “class management and administration” is the best among them. 4. Male, senior and experienced teachers, directors, and teachers in large-scale schools are more aware of organizational change. 5. Male, senior and experienced teachers and directors are more aware of psychological contract. 6. Male, senior and experienced teachers and directors are more aware of teaching efficiency. 7. The more aggressive the teachers are toward organizational change, the more awareness of psychological contract the teachers demonstrate. 8. The more aggressive the teachers are toward organizational change, the better teaching efficiency the teachers perform. 9. The more awareness of psychological contract the teachrs show, the better teaching efficiency the teachers perform. 10. The better the trade-type contract is, the more influenctial it has on the organization and presentation of the teaching materials. 11. Organizational change and psychological contract is strikingly predictable to teaching efficiency, and the “trade-type contract” can best predict the teaching efficiency. Based on the conclusion reached from the study, we put forward relevant concrete suggestions and practices as references to educational administrative organizations, schools, and teachers. In addition, we hope that others may consult this research and make further investigation to help promote the educational function.
