The study adopted the withdrawal design (A-B-A’) in single-subject research. Participants included three junior high school students with Asperger Syndrome. Participants received small-group instructions on non-literal vocabularies for 5 weeks, 2.5 hours per week. Additionally, qualitative data were analyzed to illustrate the social validity of the study. Results lead to the following conclusions: (1)The training program could promote non-literal vocabulary comprehension for participants. (2)The training program had the effects of maintenance on non-literal vocabulary comprehension for participants. (3)The training program had a good social validity of non-literal vocabulary comprehension for participants.
