碩士 === 高雄師範大學 === 特殊教育學系 === 98 === The purpose of this investigation mainly aimed at exploring the effect of a training program for comprehension of non-literal vocabularies for students with Asperger Syndrome. The study adopted the withdrawal design (A-B-A’) in single-subject research. Participants included three junior high school students with Asperger Syndrome. Participants received small-group instructions on non-literal vocabularies for 5 weeks, 2.5 hours per week. Additionally, qualitative data were analyzed to illustrate the social validity of the study. Results lead to the following conclusions： （1）The training program could promote non-literal vocabulary comprehension for participants. （2）The training program had the effects of maintenance on non-literal vocabulary comprehension for participants. （3）The training program had a good social validity of non-literal vocabulary comprehension for participants. Finally, the researcher provided some suggestions for teachers and further researchers.
