The goal is to understand the relationship of parents’ choices of the Mathematics tuition classes after school and to explore the differences in the motives of parents with different personal characteristics. The research is conducted by surveying method. First to collect related articles for analysis in order to build the structure of the research. Then after editing the research tool and examining the actual practitioners and professionals, the questionnaire is completed. Data is then collected by handing out the surveys to the parents of students of the cram schools in Ping Tung County. 576 out of 630 sets of surveys have been completed and returned. The availability rate is 91%. The effective surveys returned is then analyzed by statistics and discussed. According to research goal and findings, the results is stated in the following: 1. The motives of majority of parents in Ping Tung County for choosing tuition classes after school is to enhance the students’ learning. 2. The most important determinant in choosing the cram schools for their children is teachers’ qualifications. 3. There are obvious differences in the motives of parents choosing cram schools after school for parents with different family income, educational backgrounds, professions and the number of students attending. 4. The conditions of students attending Mathematics cram schools after school has obvious differences among parents with different standard of living, family income, educational backgrounds, professions and the number of students attending. 5. There is obvious relationship between the motives of attending cram school after work and the condition of the cram schools. The higher the motive is, the requirement for the cram schools is demanding. Based on above mentioned conclusions, the research suggests the following: 1. As cram school teachers design the curriculum and class materials, the main goal should base on enhancing the students’ learning. 2. Cram school teachers should continue acquiring related knowledge to keep up the teaching quality. 3.Cram school owners should have human resource management such as monitoring the teachers professional quality and enforce training programs for teachers in order to enhance the quality of teaching service. 4. To promote the competitiveness of “teaching and teacher’s qualifications” and “brand name”. 5.
