Abstract The purposes of the study is to investigate the relationship among job involvement, self-direction learning and organizational commitment in the cram schools of Kaohsiung City, Kaohsiung County and Pingtung County. First, related literature on job involvement, self-direction learning and organizational commitment is collected, investigated, and analyzed. Next, the framework of research is devised, and the questionnaire is designed and pre-tested, from which the research instrument of this study-“Questionnaire of the Investigation of Job Involvement, Self-direction Learning and Organizational Commitment in the Cram Schools of Kaohsiung City, Kaohsiung County and Pingtung County”-is developed. Purposive sampling was used on the actual questionnaire, data was collected from employees in legal cram schools in Kaohsiung City, Kaohsiung County, and Pingtung County with a total of 1496 cram schools. A total of 650 questionnaires were distributed, 642 of them were returned to the surveyor, making a retrieval rate of 98.8%. 13 of the returned questionnaires were invalid, so the total number of valid questionnaires retrieved was 629, making a validity rate of 96.8%. The concrete conclusions are presented as the following: 1. The Job Involvement for the instructors of cram school in Kaohsiung and Pington districts is higher tendency, among which “work inerest” and “concentration of work” are the best. 2. The Self-Directed Learning for the instructors of cram school in Kaohsiung and Pington districts is higher tendency, among which “love learning” is the best. 3. The Organizational Commitment for the instructors of cram school in Kaohsiung and Pington districts is higher tendency, among which “Commitment of Effort” is the best. 4. Instructors with the good educational background and working for a long period in Kaohsiung and Pington districts has the awareness of Job Involvement. 5. Instructors with the good educational background in Kaohsiung and Pington districts has the awareness of Self-Directed Learning. 6. Instructors married with the good educational background and working for a long period in Kaohsiung and Pington districts has the awareness of Organization Commitment. 7. There’s a positive relationship among Job Involvement,Self-Directed Learning and Organization Commitment for instructors in Kaohsiung and Pington districts. 8. Organizaion Commitment could be predicted from Job Involvement and Self-Directed Learning, and Work Acknowledgement is the best. Some suggestions of this study are summarized as follows: The suggestions to the boss of cram schools in regards with this study: 1. The boss should take care of Work Acknowledgement and Work Evaluation. 2. To improve the instroctors’ Love Learning through eductional training. 3. Providing the excellent working environment to improve Commitment of Eeffort , Commitment of Worthiness and Commitment of Job Assurance. 4. The boss should strengthen their extent of Concentration of Work in order to raise the teaching efficiency. 5. The boss should carefully manage their classing efficiency, manifesting good learning atmosphere. The suggestions to the instroctors of cram schools in regards with this study: 1. Actively propose the suggestions to establish decent working environment in order to raise Commitment of Job Assurance. 2. Instroctors should be eager to social relationship to raise Job Involvement. 3. Instructors should establish the good communications their Self-Directed Learning, promoting self-growth. 4. Instructors should enforce Work Acknowledgement to raise Commitment of Job Asurance. 5. Instroctors should etablish the excellent relationship of each other in the cram school. 6. Actively propose the suggestions to establish decent working environment in order to raise Work Evaluation of the instructors.
