Summary: | 博士 === 高雄師範大學 === 成人教育研究所 === 98 === The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of singing teaching on elderly women’s aesthetic experience and develop the teaching strategies of elderly women ‘s aesthetic experience.An action research method was employed. The data were collected and analized through in-depth interviews, focus group interviews, recording observation, teaching records, and teaching's reflection .The research process involves a exploratory teaching and two teaching cycle.Research on the subject of Taichung County are elderly women. They are also the major participants on this study.

Based on the research findings, the researcher draws some conclusions:
1. Elderly women’s aesthetic experience was deepened by teaching process but the
vocal skill need to be strengthened.
2. Elderly women worked hard in the early days and love music in their young age so
they were eager to join the singing study.
3. Elderly women’s singing motivation is different, but is in line with the connotation
of aesthetic experience.
4. There are certain characteristics in music songs to trigger elderly women aesthetic
reaction.
5. Elderly women aesthetic perception inclines high but music named capacity is
lower.
6. The teaching strategies of elderly women’s singing must include the teacher capacity and teaching skills.
7. The assessment of elderly women’s aesthetic experience impact from aesthetic
reaction , aesthetic perception , self-change, capabilities of emotional interaction with works and benefit from singing skill.
8. The aesthetic experience teaching not only deepens elderly women music aesthetic experience, also provides elderly women self-identification and promote elderly women's lives integration.
Based on the research conclusions, the researcher makes the following suggestions:
1. To the Karaoke teacher and learner
(1) The Karaoke teacher should have the teaching ability and singing skills for seniors.
(2) The elderly women who love singing participate in Karaoke singing activities to promote self-identification and life integration.
2. To the music professionals:
(1) More singing professionals Join the teaching line.
(2) More academic composers Join the composing line.
(3) More professional computer arrangers Join the arrangement line.
(4) Providing the teaching skills training for professional and non-professional singing teachers.
3. To the learning place:
(1) Singing place should good air circulation, light and not disturb others.
(2) The venue arrangement should fulfill the elderly women’s requirement.
(3) The repertoire and spare parts in karaoke machine should be regular renewed and recuperated.
4. To future research:
(1) Extend to the relation in community building to lderly women singing learning.
(2) Continue a more large-scale quantitative research
(3) Expand different social , economic status and different age of women to participate the singing teaching and research.
