Through the process of warming forging and cold forging, it is expected to reduce machining time and costs; and the development even can boost the accuracy of tooth flank. Consequently, it is no need to have the gear hobbing process of the tooth, which cost a lot. In addition, with the floating mold, it can reach the goal of two-way multi-action forming; by doing so, the formability and tooth flank of forging products will be better. And through the process of preform forging, fix forging position and remove the rust can make the surface smoother; and advance the accuracy of product. First of all, used AMTEC to design gear tooth flank; and then used DEFORM-3D to analyze the results of forming. Finally, take the results to conduct experiment on preform forging and two-way multi-forging. In the experiment, the mold shrinkage is enlarged by 17/1000, and the tooth surface was offset by 0.1mm to finish cold-forging. The results of the experiment prove the analysis of design; but there is still the shortage. To make measurement of forging product; figure out the products which are substandard; and not stop modifying the negative feedback until get the positive feedback.
