It reveals the trend of high cost and low profit in auto industry in Taiwan.There is a general analysis model of supply chain in this article. It can be applied into supply chain in different industries, and explained the issues and the variables of the general model. It also provides flexibility depending on each industry. Managers of each industry can have detail reviews of operations in supply chain, discover opportunities for improvement and increase performance of supply chains by this structure. This analysis structure includes “industrial objectives”, “network structure”, "internal management issues", "external environment variables".
This research provides an interview and a questionnaire. According to the literature review, identifying the issues and variables of the content, design a questionnaire interview conducted interviews of enterprises, including a component manufacturer and a vehicle manufacturer in Taiwan. According to interviews with business content, modify the questionnaire and interviews with a wide range of payment of 200 management employees of Taiwan''s automobile industry.
After interview, this article provide seven dilemmas of Taiwan''s automobile industry and propose seven development proposals. And we use IDCA analysis based on issues and variables of this model to provide the path of strategies development of Taiwan automobile industry.
