Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 環境與安全衛生工程所 === 98 === With the development of electronics industry, radio technology, and communications systems, electromagnetic radiation is widely used nowadays. However, artificial electromagnetic radiation is also causing more and more pollution and interference, giving rise to the problem of electromagnetic radiation pollution in the environment. High-power electromagnetic radiation carries higher penetration power that might interfere the equipments and systems, causing system malfunction, and even leading to disasters. When functional tests were conducted at a certain workstation for this study, it was observed that electromagnetic radiation caused electromagnetic interference among systems. However, in the same electromagnetically-exposed environment, another workstation showed no sign of malfunction cause by electromagnetic interference. In order to investigate and mitigate the electromagnetic interference, this study first conducted field strength measurement to measure and detect the electromagnetic waves in the environment. Then the electromagnetic waves and source of interference were analyzed to investigate how the interference can be offset with filtering technology to prevent system malfunction. Danger to health from exposure to electromagnetic radiation was also investigated. In consideration of the current site and funds, it was first attempted to prevent electromagnetic interference and system malfunction by installing wave filters. Filters can be used to compress the signal circuit interference spectrum: when the components of the interference spectrum differ from the band of useful signals, filters can filter out unwanted interferences. The purpose of filtering is to reduce the interference to a certain extent that the emitting interference is limited within a set scale, so that the interference received by the equipments will not cause system performance degradation or malfunction.
