| Summary: | 碩士 === 南華大學 === 非營利事業管理研究所 === 98 === The main purpose of this study was to investigate the job satisfaction for special education teachers in Chiayi County. Also, this study was to examine the degree of influence of the teacher''s job satisfaction on background variables and work-related variables.
A survey on job satisfaction for special education teachers in Chiayi County was conducted by a "Questionnaire of Job Satisfaction for special education Teachers". Through a general investigation, 90 copies of questionnaires were sent out and 83 copies were valid.
The main findings of this study show that:
1. Most special education teachers in primary schools were satisfied with their work, though not very satisfied. It showed current work circumstances were not ideal enough. Some improvement was required.
2. In terms of job-satisfaction, the related order is: job characteristics, organizational structure, decision participation and leadership.
3. There was one significant difference in the level of job satisfaction among the different background variables and work-related variables.
